Copacopa Luxury Lodge & Conference Centre

Copacopa Luxury Lodge & Conference Centre is located at a village called Ha-Lambani, which is situated 15km this side of the Phunda Maria gate of the Kruger National Park. Drive along Phunda Maria road for 55km towards the park. Reach the village called Ka-Mhinga there is a road sign showing Thohoyandou and Tshaulu to the left. Turn left and over a bridge of the Luvuvhu river and a gate. From the gate the lodge is 400m away on the right hand side. Advertising boards along the route can also be seen.

 

Protea Hotel (Acacia Park) Self Catering Resorts Thohoyandou

The Protea Hotel Self Catering Resort Thohoyandou is situated under an acacia tree forest on the R524 to Punda Maria Gate (65km).

It is the only self – catering resort boasting a caravan park in and around the capital of Venda. All 30 caravan sites have an electricity and water supply ,as well as a communal ablution block.

The 18 chalets all have two three quarter beds with a small bedroom , which can sleep two children in bunk beds. Another feature is a small kitchen .The chalets all have an en-suite bathroom with showers.

There is no restaurant in the resort , but the shopping center ,50m away, has several facilities . The Tusk casino is only 1km away for those in need of excitement.

Sporting and leisure facilities include an actives playground for the kids , volleyball and swimming pool .

Tuck shop and laundry facilities available on the premise. Shops and banks are available in Thohoyandou.

The resort boasts two conference venues, seating up to 80 delegates cinema style seating and 60 schoolroom. This facility is also utilized for group and conference meals. Traditional braais can also be held in the acacia forest , while the nearby conference centre can seat up to 200 delegates.
